About Gilboord Strategic Advisors

Experienced Leadership.

Trusted Guidance.
Gilboord Strategic Advisors was founded to help organizations navigate complexity, strengthen leadership, build meaningful relationships, and advance important priorities.
Founder and Principal Noam Gilboord is a nonprofit executive, strategist, communicator, and advocate with more than two decades of experience leading organizations, managing change, building coalitions, and helping mission-driven institutions achieve their goals.
Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of organizational leadership, public affairs, community relations, advocacy, communications, governance, and strategic planning.
A Proven Record of Leadership
Most advisors offer recommendations. Noam has spent his career implementing them.
As Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Community Relations Officer at the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, he led one of the nation's largest and most influential Jewish communal organizations through a period of extraordinary challenge and change. During and after the events of October 7, he helped organize some of the largest rallies for Israel in the United States and was recognized by City & State as one of New York City's "Power 100" leaders for his leadership and efforts to combat antisemitism.
In senior executive roles, he has overseen organizational operations, finance, budgeting, strategic planning, communications, governance, leadership transitions, staff management, and stakeholder engagement while working closely with boards, donors, elected officials, faith leaders, and community partners.
